A port of the popular PC game "Portal" with ASCII graphics.
In ASCIIpOrtal you overcome challenges by placing portal way-points, joining two points in the map. If they player or any object passes through one portal way-point it will seamlessly exit the other. Since both way-points are the same point on the map the player's view through the portal will reflect this and space warps around you as you pass through the portal.
Use the following keys to play:
- Left/Right Arrows - Move Left/Right
- Up/Down Arrows - Move Up/Down Ladders or adjust aim.
- Z - Fire Blue Portal
- X - Fire Yellow Portal
- SPACE - Fire 'Next' Portal
- C - Clear Portals
- P - Pause Game Menu
- T - Change Portal Render
- O - Set to Default Speed
- I - Increse Game Speed
- U - Decrese Game Speed.

Love it! Sadly all the extra map packs seem to close the game at some point (challengeme at 11th, another one on third level): [Rate: 10/10] |
