backup menu destroyed my n900. its bricked now, after having tried to restore backup, i even cannot flash it. [No rate] |

It can not be praised enough!!!! Very useful for us all, who do some testing and do not what to start from scratch if something goes wrong. One thing I miss dearly: There should be a password protection while the bootloader starts up. Without this any body who steals or finds the even generally locked phone can extract all data via USB! I used your Backup menu on your Nokia N900 Operating System. Maemo5 when I wanted torun a backup Rootsf from your SD card so I deleted the whole Maemo and The system will not boot ,system just died , he fell down ,I do not know what to do . [Rate: 0/10] |

Saved me from having to go through the torture of the standard N900 restore process several times already so I consider it one of the most useful and important tools existing for Maemo 5. In 20 minutes or so (both rootfs and optfs) and with just a couple of key presses one can restore the device to a backed up state, which is so much different than reinstallation of all packages with the standard Backup app. So this is a truly KILLER APP deserving the highest rating. [Rate: 10/10] |

I like it very much. I had bricked my phone 3 times due to installing junk and had to reflash and redo all the settings not covered by the default backup utility. With this one i can freely mess with my phone and can restore to original state in a jiffy. [Rate: 9/10] |
