Seamless Software Update (SSU) is the term Nokia used to brand the over-the-air updates of Maemo. Community Seamless Software Update (CSSU) is being developed by the Maemo community, for the Maemo community. It aims to deliver fixes which can't be delivered easily through Extras, such as core Maemo packages.
Shortly speaking, this project delivers (community made) updates, fixes and enhancements of the core platform, after Nokia stopped providing them to the N900. For more details on the project and how to install it on your device, please refer to the following Wiki page:
