I'm OK with the speed of this Firefox as long as I overclock CPU on my n900. My CPU rate is 850mhz, and the browser running speed at 850mhz is much better than running at the default speed, 600mhz. I highly recommend you to overclock CPU before you use. [Rate: 7/10] |

For some pages slow, other not. In some pages it looked like it stoped working, but it did not, just a little slow. It worked great for other pages. It is a good start fore something better to come. Still a lot of addons that dont work, which is needed, like adblocker and flash. The worst thing is, when installed firefox, the original browser stoped working. I uninstalled firefox, emtied the cach (original browser) and restarted my phone. The original browser started again. Stick with your original browser until firefox is more tested (solved problems) and relyable. It should never be an issue that you have to chose one browser before another. apparently the n900's own browser with its problems is still unbeatable.
featurewise fennec is lightyears away, but it is humangous and extremely slow. and cons beat pros in this case [Rate: 1/10] |
