A simple GPS status application and compass.
GPSData is an application displaying extended GPS information (direction, ground and vertical speeds, magnetic variation, horizontal and vertical accuracies, ...), current position of GPS satellites on the sky and contains a simple GPS compass.

When the application is launched, it immediately reverts to Portrait mode. This can cause a problem when using an application like the "Advanced Clock Plugin", which under some configurations (such as increasing the clock's font size and having the clock show seconds), hides the "GPSData" menu link (for selecting the Compass or Satellite views).
Suggestion: Put buttons at the bottom of each view to allow switching views. Also, having a Landscape view for the opening page would be nice. These additions would have increased my rating to the "Must have" level! The three screens are a very pleasing visually, and this is a very useful application! Nice work, Roman! [Rate: 8/10] |
