@Anonymous: no, this daemon only supports *WIRED* headsets with remote control. I am not aware of any similar tool for Bluetooth headsets without music control buttons. [No rate] |

Does it work with Bluetooth headset (standard, without music control buttons)? If not, is there any app/daemon which does that? [Rate: 8/10] |

doesn't work right away and sometimes stops working just like that; I then have to restart the media player, but all in all still a very useful app
thanks a lot! [Rate: 8/10] |

Reply to Anonymous:
Enter this command in X Terminal: gconftool-2 --set /apps/headset-control/next-mode --type bool true
(you may have to type 'sudo gainrootm first to gain root access).
That should do it. [No rate] |

Sorry, but I'm not very familiar with linux so that
"Set the GConf key /apps/headset-control/next-mode to true"
doesn't mean anything to me. And I couldn't find any info on the internet about how to get where I can change the mode. Can anybody tell me where this "GConf key" or what ever is hidden and how I can activate the "next track" signal?
Thx in advance [No rate] |
