N9Profile is a powerful profile manager for the N900. It can create new profiles, quickly change profiles, change/activate profiles based on events in Calendars, location ID from mobile network, manage profiles based on WiFi network name, enable timed profiles (e.g. silent profile for 4 hours) and profiles for incoming calls (N900 will ring or not based on profile for a mobile number).
Supported profile types include:
- Deafult profile
- Profile based on the incoming call numbers
- Timed profile
- Profile based on a WiFi network SSID or location ID (cell ID)
- Profiles based on events in the calendar.

All was well except that it lost all my profiles I worked for minutes to add. The phone number method (the one I really wanted) failed to operate as desired (it just played the song for the currently selected profile). I would have tried changing the phone number format (removing the +44 perhaps) but it lost the profiles again after I restarted the program hoping to get it to work.
Really, a profile for a number is a little strange because what we want os really based on the selected profile. What is really required is that the ringing tone is changed (with the simple expedient of allowing silent if a form of blocking/ignoring is required).
I would be tempted to modify this app myself if the author is interested - especially if it is written in C/C++.
