A tool to take photos at arbitrary time intervals.
The application is very simple to use and all you actually have to set is the number of photos to be taken and the interval between them. There is also a Preview button which you can use to check what the lens sees, and a dialog to choose where to store the images.
The application isn't available in the repos at the moment so you need to install it manually. You need to have rootsh installed for this.
- Open X-Terminal
- type sudo gainroot
- type apt-get update
- type apt-get install gstreamer-tools
- manually download the TimeLapse .deb file from its project page
- go to the directory where you saved the .deb, e.g. cd MyDocs
- type dpkg -i timelapse-xxx.deb (where xxx is the current version number in the file name)
- that's it, enjoy!
