Control your phone remotely using other Java ME enabled phone via Bluetooth.
The package installs a Control panel applet which can be used to start the server on the N900. It also contains a Java midlet that you'll need to send and install on the other phone which you would like to use as a remote control. Once installed, it makes it possible to control N900's keyboard and screen touch events via Bluetooth.
After installation of this package, the Java ME application (MMMRPCCLIENT.JAR and .JAD files) to be sent to the other phone can be found in /opt/mmmrpcserver/ folder of the N900, so you'll need a file manager with full file system access (like e.g. FileBox) to get them from there and send them via Bluetooth.

It actually works.
It is not too useful yet imo, since you have to press 'send' each time you want to do a control action. If it had an option to automatically send each character as it is typed, it would be much better already. [Rate: 7/10] |
