Light Meter is a handy aperture/shutter speed calculator for photographers. Select aperture and ISO and get shutter speed corresponding with the current lighting conditions, measured by the device using its built-in light sensor. Or vice versa: enter desired shutter speed and ISO and get the aperture value.
The program comes with two cameras (Nikon D80 and Olympus OM10) and several lenses (Nikkor and Zuiko) preconfigured, but you can add your own cameras and lenses by editing camera.conf and lens.conf files located in /opt/lightmeter folder. The program only permits setting values within the range supported by the chosen camera/lens.

Good work but several problems.
No f stop wider than 3.5, and the idea of dedicated machines is not good.
Not enough information about how it works (incident, reflective).
1/3 stop except for diaf.
It should save its last state.
This is not a "serious"23O application (as a photometer), but I like it! [Rate: 5/10] |
