Queen BeeCon Widget is a highly customizable and flexible widget-based multi-instance monitoring and alerting tool. Objective of the project is to enhance the possibility to customize the graphical layout and allow both cosmetic and functional extensions based upon a future (still to be designed and developed) plugin architecture.
As its ancestor, the Widget is based on the execution of external Shell/OS Commands which can be either as simple as one-liner statements or as complex as articulated shell scripts, which, for example, fetch, parse and aggregate contents retreived from the system, other applications or the Internet.
There are two basic Widget types, Beecons and Snippets:
Beecons are small hexagonal cells whose background color changes according to the executed Command Exit Status. Beecons can be either clustered/tiled to represent logically grouped beecons or stacked to logically connect a parent to children Beecons.
Snippets are normal text boxes with fixed background color which is not influenced by the executed Command Exit Status.

One of the most powerful apps of all!
It can do pretty much anything, as long as you know shell commands or use one of the many preconfigured settings that are downloadable on tmo.
I'm using it for having football (German Bundesliga)live scores.
It's the dream tool for the real linux- geek owning an N900... ;-) [Rate: 10/10] |

It can do what You want! There are also a few built in comand like battery, rootfs etc. But also there are a few custom made qbw tha You could have following simple instructios. [Rate: 10/10] |
